Care Home providers in the South West have joined together to mount a judicial review against the local authority to force them to pay the "true cost for care".

ICG is calling all care providers to come to a Mass Meeting to discuss the fee rates being paid by the local
authorities and how to work together towards achieving the true cost of care.

The desired outcome of the FFF is to achieve the true cost of care and ensure that all service contracts are altered to include the model to calculate the true cost of care. This may involve them in building a case for Judicial Review.
The Meeting will be held as follows:
